Speaking out – long overdue!

I am a very proud non feminist female who has decided that it’s time to deal with the frenzy that is now going on in the media about how society is riddled with so-called ‘sexism’. I believe that things are much more complicated than that, and that the manner in which feminism is hijacking important issues is stopping us from having a mature and rational debate about many things.

  1. So how would you describe yourself? Are you egalitarian like myself, a feMRA, or not into using labels? It’s cool any way, I was just curious.

    • Hi Tarnished Sophia,

Many thanks for following me – it is very much appreciated as this is a daunting task! I will get to following all you bloggers asap! I’ve edited the about me description to reflect a bit more about myself, as I guess it’s important for subscribers to know what I think.

I fully support the work of the MRA (and they are very kindly supporting me), especially at present when feminists are enforcing such unfair double standards. However my personal opinion is that there shouldn’t really have to be much of a difference between men’s and women’s rights! That is one of the biggest reasons I’m offended by feminism, so I suppose it would be hypocritical of me to self-define as a men’s rights activist. I suppose the best tags for me would be either ‘non-feminist’ or ‘counter-feminist’!

I don’t think that it would be hypocritical for you to define yourself as a men’s rights activist because I’m one myself. Like you, I’m also fed up with too much feminism.

Right here is the perfect webpage for anybody who really wants to understand this topic. You know a whole lot its almost tough to argue with you (not that I personally would want to…HaHa). You certainly put a brand new spin on a topic that has been discussed for a long time. Great stuff, just great!|

    • Wow, thank you for this very kind comment! Sorry it’s taken me a few days to get back to you – things have been a bit bonkers!

I have certainly not read every single book about feminism/non-feminism, but I’m hoping to learn a whole lot more as this progresses.

I’m glad you think I’m putting my points across well – I hope I’m not too scary! The fact that I think many people with feminist views are scaring others into silence is one of the reasons I’m writing this though – so I’m hoping I will have the strength to be forceful yet open if that’s possible!

    Hello! Let’s be friends.

    • Hi Amy! I’ve followed your blog and I think it’s great. I’m @femalefedupwith if you want to follow me on twitter – I couldn’t find you on there (probably because I’m technologically inept!)

I’m something of a natural Luddite myself so I sympathize. The good news is that I do not have a Twitter account or, if I do, it is forgotten. So don’t worry about it! If I do get in the habit of sending out Twits I’ll make sure to look you up.

      • Fantastic – I’ll be sure to check your blog! Where are you based?

I have followed you as well. This is an interesting time to get involved as well as a slightly frightening one. The feminists feel that they are losing the arguments and support- especially among younger women. Yet they still have institutional power in the media and legal systems. They will not go quietly and will use repression when they can. Nevertheless we will win.

Blogs like this are heartening 🙂

I have finally gotten around to discovering your blog, and it does my heart good to see it. Keep fighting the good fight from your corner of things, and I will keep fighting that fight from my corner.

  7. You are so going to love my book, ffuwf. My children and I were badly victimized by the feminist Matriarchy, so I analyzed feminism as an enemy system (I have a military background). I discovered something really, really interesting. It explains literally everything about feminists (the ardent or extremist sorts).

The book resonated with test readers, and women readers especially seem to love it. You can check this out at these two reasonably short posts:

I’m not looking to make a sale. Fire me an email at themirrorbooks@gmail.com if you’re interested, and I’ll email you the .pdf.
